Passion

The music world took some major losses in the last few months. Here's just a few:

Ian Fraser "Lemmy" Kilmister (born 24 December 1945) is an English rock musician. He is best known as the lead vocalist, bassist, principal songwriter and the founding and sole constant member of the heavy metal band Motörhead as well as a former member of Hawkwind.:   David Bowie, 1973 by Lynn Goldsmith:

Natalie Cole. She died today aged 65. Gone too soon..:

One thing all these musicians had in common: passion. They all passed away, unfortunately, passionate about their lives. All of  the ups, and all of the downs. Mainly because they were true to their craft and loved what they did. This was what they were born to do.

This got me thinking. I was talking to a friend the other night and was asking if there had ever been a point in her life where she had a moment of enlightenment. In another words,  has there ever been a moment where she thought to her self  "this is it." This is what I want to do with the rest my life. This is what brings me joy, what gives me air. This is my love...this is my passion.

We then got into  a  discussion about passion. We compared our thoughts on how "we" as individuals,  all  have something we are extremely passionate about. Which of course makes us individuals, because we are who we are..right?

It always comes back to 3 things when seeking true Santosha (contentment, happiness, wholeness) 1. Listening to your inner voice (soul). 2. Having the courage to live fearlessly (even though every part of your subtle and physical body is trembling). 3. Being truthful and honest about what you are passionate about. It's the start of a new month, a new moon cycle, and soon a new day. Don't settle. Leap. #buddhibox #passion #fearless #happiness #santosha #igyoga #igyogis #instayogi:
